"Umm...How Did That Get There?"

Ok, so "the Most Embarassing Songs on Your iPod" topic has expanded to include the hypothetical. Here are some of the songs I'd consider embarassing if they were indeed on my iPod...if I do have them I put a star next to it. I'll keep myself honest.
  • Barbie Girl--Aqua
  • Wannabe--Spice Girls
  • Any Cheetah Girls
  • Any Weird Al
  • Most Show Tunes. Sorry. (I have the whole score of "Rent")
  • Any O-Town
  • I Honestly Love You--Olivia Newton-John
  • Keep On Lovin' You--REO Speedwagon
  • Neil Sedaka
  • Girls of the Summer--LFO
  • All By Myself--Eric Carmen
  • Sugar Ray
  • Muskrat Love
  • Ricky Martin
  • Yes
  • America
  • Europe
  • Rush
  • Wasn't Me--Shaggy
  • Xanadu
  • Barry Manilow* (Guilty. Have "Mandy" and "Copa Cabana")
  • Do They Know It's Christmas--Band-Aid
  • Donnie and Marie
  • I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me--Expose
  • Ashlee Simpson
  • My Humps--Fergie (I do have "Fergalicious" and "Glamorous")
  • My Heart Will Go On--Celiene Dion
  • Most Theme songs from just about every show/movie
  • Ride That Donkey--12 Gauge
  • Pretty Fly for a White Guy--Offspring
  • Menudo
  • She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy--Kenny Chesney
  • God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You--Alabama (and N'Sync)
  • To be fair, I do own the entire album of "Love. Angel. Music. Baby" by Gwen Stefani.
  • And "Mizundastood" by P!nk. The whole album.
  • And "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. Ditto to the whole album.

Any additions?

Leslie...busted. Totally.
Now it's ok if you are in the car alone or with children under the age of 10, but at a dinner party or bbq and your ipod was on shuffle you wouldn't break furniture in an attempt to hit "SKIP"? Well done.
I found my embarassing song. Ready? It's by Vonda Shepherd. Like the woman from the bar in "Ally McBeal". Yup. Her. And Emily Sailers of the Indigo Girls. Wow.

Ok, so does being a youth worker give you a free pass? Because I have some way embarrassing stuff like the High School Musical albums, 'I Want My Mullet Back' by Billy Ray Cyrus himself and loads more.

By the way, Phil just bought Boyz II Men 'Legacy Album' on sale and is super proud of it. Made me think of you and your fav coffee table book.

Definitely anything by Hanson... except "If Only." That song is a gem. And I know you have it. I have it, too.

Dude -- you're not SILLY for having the Vonda Shephard/Emily Saliers song (Baby, Don't You Break My Heart Slow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki_Qiqv5qDQ&feature=related. Just look at ES in the background swaying). More like just a big ol' lesbian in another life. FYI, I LOVE that song. I kind of want VS and ES to start making out.

My additions would be:
-River of Dreams, Billy Joel
-Jewel's entire "Pieces of You" album
-I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore, REO Spdwgn
-Up in Here, DMX
-You Oughtta Know, Alanis

Oh I love the Em/Vonda song no doubt, totally love it, totally love them, but that doesn't stop me from being mildly embarrassed if it came on shuffle with a group of people. I hadn't seen the video before...oh Emily Saliers...and where the hell is Vonda now? Where is she in the post Ally McBeal world?
