Kathleen Edwards is coming to Grey Eagle on April 16th. I am going to this show if I have to go alone. She's worth it...great alt country. She reminds me of driving around near Geneva when I lived in Rochester. Frozen tundra, buried sky and two dollars to my name. Love her.

oh yes...Kathleen Edwards. Jonah & Rita & I went to see her at the Grey Eagle several years ago. Jonah & I spent most of the time making fun of her for being such an angry bitch. John Eddie opened up for her and we liked him because he had bumper stickers that said, "Who the hell is John Eddie?"
Ahem...her songs are definitely angry bitch songs,another reason I love her. Although I understand she is rather happily married to her lead guitarist, so she can't be too angry. I'm an angry bitch anyway, it's like affirmation. :)
